#EUinmyAction: requirements for visibility and communication

eLearning course to increase understanding on how to comply with communication and visibility requirements in the framework of an EU-funded Action

Course Description

Visibility and communication activities are mandatory elements of any EU-funded Action, should be defined at proposal stage and implemented throughout the entire cycle of the project. Such visibility and communications activities apply to all entities managing EU funds and need to comply with pre-defined rules and standards, in order to ensure consistency of the delivered messages, despite of project location, sector of intervention and implementing organisation.

This eLearning aims at providing a step-by-step guidance, clarifying communication and visibility activities to be performed at each stage of the project (proposal, implementation and reporting) and providing useful tips and examples on how to best operationalise them.

Specific Objective

To provide the key information and practical examples to ensure a proper application of EU requirements in terms of visibility of funded Actions.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Comply with EU requirements in terms of visibility and communication activities
  • Confidently draft a Visibility and Communication Plan
  • Organise appropriate visibility and communication activities throughout the project cycle

Course Modules

  • Exploring the basics: obligations and definitions

This initial overview explains why visibility and communication activities are requested, defines basic concepts and indicates the correct emblem to be used. This module also lists all existing obligations in terms of visibility and communication, including rules governing intellectual property rights.

  • Planning visibility and communication activities

This module explores the key elements and tools of the communication and visibility planning process. The module analyses all elements (objectives, targets, indicators, etc.) of the visibility and communication plan and also provides a template that could be adapted to your organisation’s specific needs.

  • The implementation phase

Different stages of the project require different communication and visibility tools. This module provides an overview of different channels, tools, activities and products, together with the main elements that needs to be respected, so that, in case new technological opportunities arise, you will be able to confidently apply the EU requirements to them.

  • Reporting and follow up

Reporting and follow up represent two important aspects of visibility. Specific obligations apply when reporting on visibility and communication activities performed during the implementation of the Action. Specific indications are also provided on how to manage visibility and communication tools once the Action is over.

After subscription, you will be addressed to the punto.sud Academy eLearning platform and subscribed to the course. You will have 30 days, from the first access, to complete the course.

At the end of the course, you will be required to fill in an evaluation form and you will be able to download the certificate of attendance.
